Sport makes you happy

You all know this feeling when the days get shorter and shorter and at 5 p.m. it´s dark outside. Exactly in this time – I mean the months December and January – is the time of the year when you have to study most. All the exams are close and you have to finish all the projects but you don´t want to do anything.

You feel tired all the time and you only want to sleep all day long. But you can´t do this at this time of semester. You have to do something that makes you happy – because when you are happy you can study easily and all the things you have to don´t seem as hard as you think.

Go to the gym
In winter it´s difficult to do sports outside, especially if you haven´t much time so try to find your perfect gym and make a contract which fits to you. At the gym who can use the treadmill or the exercise bike – during your sport lesson you can watch a movie, or you can listen to music.

Skiing with your friends
Normally winter isn´t the time of year I love, but there is one type of sport you only can do when it´s cold and snowy outside – skiing! Make a timetable for your learning sessions and try to use the saturdays for yourself and avail this day for a skiing day with your friends – it gives you power for the next week and you will feel happier after it.

Yoga at home
If you don´t want to pay for a gym or don´t have enough time for a whole skiing day, stay at home and try different yoga positions. You will see it´s exhausting as well and it makes you feel good.

So keep my tips in mind, do some sport and you will see you will be happier.
Then your motivation for learning will come back and all the outstanding exams and project aren´t a problem any longer.

Everybody believes that a student life is a great life. Students have much leisure time, only a few weeks in the semester to study and most of the students getmuch money from their parents. But a student life isn´t always that great because most of the normal students have got little money, nevertheless there is still the desire for travel.

Now I want to give you some tips how to combine your student life with less money and traveling around the world. If you follow my tips, you can make great journeys with a small purse.

Travel with another student
When you are traveling it´s always good, when you do your journey with a person who has the same or a similar budget as you. Discussions about expensive restaurants or taking the taxi don´t exist because in every way the cheaper thing is preferred.

Most of the great cities and destinations are far away and airplane tickets are usually expensive. But have you ever heard of the interrail ticket? Almost in every great city there are apartments or rooms which you can book AirBnB. It´s a great way to save money because the rooms you get there are cheaper than hotels. Many AirBnB accomodations are in the middle of the city so you can go by feet. Look for your perfect room or apartment: AirBnB

How to be a successful student

Your head feels like it is going to explode. You have a part time job, but you should also study at home for your next exam. You are dealing with personal problems and your family has high expectations about your performance.

Can you relate to any of these feelings? During the next few years as students it will be inevitable that each one of us will experience stressful times. Here are a few tips to help you handle your busy studying schedules.

  • Write a detailed timetable

To know exactly what to learn and when will help you organise yourself better. You will be prepared for the next week and stress levels with remain low.

  • Breaks

Don´t forget to have breaks during study sessions. It can help if you learn intensively for 50 minutes and then have a 15-minute break. Use this time to go outside, breath in some fresh air and go for a short walk.

  • Healthy eating

Of course, it is always very important to eat health, to achieve good marks it is especially significant. Feed your young brain with fruit, nuts and drink plenty of water.
